Miracle Girls is a platformer developed and published by Takara in 1993. It is based on the Miracle Girls! anime series by Now Production, which was very popular in the 1990s, when there was a tanuki trend in Japan.

A cute platformer that sadly was released in Japan only and therefore it had Japanese text and dialogues. However, a fan translation now exists which is pretty well done to be honest (they even added English dubbed voices for the guide girl, wow!).

You can choose between Tomomi and Mikage, both with the same mission of defeating Majo-Majo and his minions by winning mini-games, in order to rescue their friends and return to their original world. I have to say, this is a lost gem you should try out.
