Some video footage showing the fall Xbox Live Dashboard Update has leaked online today, offering a sneak peek at what you can expect from the new look Xbox 360 front-end, which uses a Microsoft design language known as 'Metro' and will bring the dashboard more in line with the Windows Phone 7 user interface.

It'll also mean an end to switching between the conventional dashboard and Kinect hub for Kinect users, making for a more seamless and cohesive interface. Or something like that. Whatever the case, it looks rather smart and although the menus are in French, you can still make out what's what.

The fall Xbox Live Dashboard Update is rumoured to be arriving on November 15th, 2011, with the official line being 'holiday 2011' for the time being. Check out the video to see what it'll look like.
