Mirror's Edge: Quick Tip #1 - Disarming the "Spider monkey things" (Pursuit cops)

To disarm, hold a direction (either left or right) and press the jump button. This will do a sidestep (really good for increasing your momentum!) and you will be able to dodge their attacks. When you are behind them, simply press the disarm button.

To kill them, you can also let them chase after you to later in the level, take a gun off of a regular cop and shoot them. Or alternatively if you are quick enough you can just beat the shit out of them.

You can also push them off buildings or let them throw themselves off. Enjoy! :)
