Mischief Makers – The N64 Game That Looks Better Than It Plays
Mischief Makers might be one of the best-looking 2D games on the N64, but for me, it just didn’t hit the way I hoped. Developed by Treasure and released in 1997, the game has a ton of charm, unique mechanics, and unforgettable style. You play as Marina Liteyears, a robotic maid on a mission to rescue her professor, grabbing, shaking, and throwing everything in sight. It’s creative, it’s weird, but the gameplay left me cold.
Played on RetroArch using the Mupen64Plus-Next core.
