0Slayer for the 3DO has all the ingredients for a great dungeon crawler, real-time combat, character creation, and randomized dungeons but it just doesn’t come together the way you’d hope. Released in 1994 by Lion Entertainment and published by SSI, it brings classic D&D elements to the 3DO, but the clunky movement and punishing difficulty hold it back. Still, there’s something cool buried in here. This was recorded using RetroArch with the Opera core.
