Zooo hit the PlayStation 2 in 2004 as part of Japan’s Simple 2000 Series, bringing the fast-paced animal-matching chaos of Zookeeper to the big screen. Developed by Success, this version included sharper visuals, local multiplayer, and challenge modes that built on what the GBA version started.

It later released in Europe in 2005 but never came to North America, making it one of those oddball puzzle imports worth revisiting. Still loud, still fast, and still addictive.

This gameplay was captured using PCSX2, the PS2 emulator, with upscaled visuals for clarity.
