MiSTer Arcade ๐น System 16 - Aurail, Bay Route, Cotton, and more
0๐ I have a MiSTer! Let's try out some classic Sega System 16 arcade games. Today I'm playing no less than five games from 1989-1990. 'Aurail' by Westone is a multidirectional shooter with cool graphics. It's tough as nails. Next is 'Bay Route', a Contra-like game by Sunsoft. After that I play a few minutes of 'Fantastic Night Dreams: Cotton', a cute scrolling shooter by Success Corp. The two final games are puzzles, first poker puzzle 'Ryu Kyu', originally a PC-98/Sharp X68000 game, which was then ported to System 16. This is the reverse of what normally happened at the time, normally arcade games were ported to home consoles, not the opposite. The last game is 'Flash Point', a Tetris clone by Sega.
The MiSTer is a FPGA-based open source emulation system that emulates a large variety of computers, consoles and arcade games from the 1990s and older.
