This game has the unique distinction of being the last officially released game by Sega on the Genesis/Mega Drive, after the release of the Genesis/Mega Drive Mini console in 2019, which is where it originated. It is also the best home port of Darius in the 16-bit and older consoles that I have played, even beating out the excellent PC Engine SuperGrafx version.
There is a hidden sound menu that lets you listen to all the music in the game:
Go into Options and press Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Down, Down
Screen and sound lag test:
Go into Options and press Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up
