Mitch's Fantasy Movie Reviews - Thor (2011): Real Vikings Wear Capes
Well, it's not quite cape kino, but I wouldn't call it cape shit either.
Mitch's Fantasy Movie Reviews returns for season 2. This season's focus will be primarily on how myth, legend, and folklore have shaped fantasy fiction through cinema, which in turn has shaped the tropes we know and love today.
Marvel's Thor (2011) was the last character debut film in the initial wave of movies leading up the ensemble feature The Avengers (2012). The title character has undergone a lot of character development as time has moved on, but in his initial film debut, the son of Odin must prove his worthiness to wield his mighty hammer Mjolnir after failing to follow in his father's footsteps.
This review featured clips and media from the following sources:

The music in this video is from Total War: Thrones of Britannia. I actually like it surprisingly, in fact I kind of like it a bit more than Three Kingdoms so don't tell anyone. I don't think anyone reads this part anyway, so I should have nothing to worry about.
