Mitch's Fantasy Movie Reviews - Army of Darkness: Hos Delgado Sends His Regards
You know, as cool as a chainsaw hand seems, it must be a pain in the ass to clean up after a trip to the bathroom...
Mitch's Fantasy Movie Reviews returns for season 2. This season's focus will be primarily on how myth, legend, and folklore have shaped fantasy fiction through cinema, which in turn has shaped the tropes we know and love today.
Army of Darkness is the third film in the Evil Dead Trilogy. Without spoiling the ending of Evil Dead 2, our hero Ash Williams finds himself in a strange new world, where he must set out on adventure for the Necronomicon, the evil book that got him into this mess in the first place. It's good action, it's got jokes, it's got spooky skeletons, and it's got a plot that borrows heavily from ancient myths.

The music in this video is from Soul Calibur II. The song that plays when I talk about the qualities of Ash Williams as a character is titled "Hubris." I thought it was rather fitting and something to be appreciated.
