Anyway keeping the channel active so heres a real travesty of a game. Fuun saiki or something for sega saturn. This is actually the second version of the game. I have not played the first so I have no comment on it. But I can say this second one is probably one of the worst designed games or perhaps unplay tested games ever? Or maybe it was rushed who knows. What is know is it is a clusterfuck.
My only interest in the game is really because mizoguchi is in it as a secret/guest sorta character. And I think he is a cool character.
The game is self is well pretty sloppy. There appears to be some thought put into it with certain juggles as there are limits. But other properties of the game are not thought out at all. Basically most characters have weapons in the game, but you can choose to drop your weapon as well. One might think this would make your character worse. But no, now they can chain combo. Add that to the fact that when you hit a opponent with a jumping attack your momentum changes(ala the jump infinites shown here)basically everyone in the entire game has the same infinite combo on hit or block no joke. Its that bad.
The game is also pretty wonky and glitchy period, at certain points the if the game doesnt agree with what your comboing a sorta invisiable reverse magnent will be pushed against your opponent when you try to attack him sending him accross the screen strangely till you stop trying to attack him. Also certain combo , the combo meter breaks and will start comboing even on block.
As for mizoguchi himself well ... see for yourself, hes different than in other games, and has some new properties but all that matters is basically you can link in and out of a bunch of shit giving him pretty easy infinites everywhere.
