The new Braxian front has turned this campaign on its head and Algimas' crew is understandably quite wary of the situation. Ruby was very quick to notice the Braxian chain of command buckled rapidly upon the loss of Ajax in the last battle. Using that gained insight, she boldly assumes that the same might very well apply to the top brass - if Jormund could be defeated, the rest of his forces stand a reasonable chance of either deserting or devolve to infighting amongst themselves. While it is a stretch, it's the best chance at victory our heroes have at the moment and figure, well, what the hell, right?
The Crimson Arm takes their leave of the Bervinnian forces and take a boat to a Zentirim holy tomb, the burial site of its First Emperor. There it is said that buried along with the emperor are powerful divine weapons which Clara wishes to acquire to aid in dealing with Jormund. But zounds! It would seem the Braxians also had the right idea and beat the Arm to the punch. (hehe) They still have yet to access the weapons, so it's not too late to stop them cold.
As all of this is happening, the script is [very] rapidly degrading in quality as we near the final hour. Damn you, Suikoden II!
