Super Robot Taisen is a niche Strategy-RPG series in Japan where robots from your favorite Japanese anime go out and fight one another, with some original characters for flavor. Eventually, there were enough original characters made to use them in an original plotline, and hey, it managed to get localized, because screw you, licensing fees!

In days long past, I attempted to make a Let's Play of this fun little game you've never played. It didn't go so well; the scope of the game was way outside of my element at the time and I just never felt like making progress. But times have changed since then; I am now slightly more fit to play through this game, though I've made it a stream playthrough to give me incentive to finsh.

Don't worry, Ron is here to geek out with me! Come join us as we follow the story of how an 18-year-old Japanese kid went from playing robot sims to defending his planet from aliens, all because he's real good at games.
