The sassy small child that made a speech is one Mareimaia Kushrenada, hidden daughter of the revolutionary Treize Kushrenada, a charismatic man who had big plans for the world at large but was stopped short before the events of this game began. Alas for Mareimaia, she doesn't even possess a tenth of the charisma her daddy had, so she teams up with her grandfather Dekim Barton to put boots to asses and ensure their rebellion goes off without incident.
