With Miwa no longer attempting to muck things up for Londo Bell, Relena and Lady Une resume trying to seek a peaceful way to end hostilities, and have received word that the Bharmians are looking to negotiate a plan for peace, but the talks are to be held in secret. Tsukumo is eager to serve as the representative of the Jovians' side and decides to return to Earth with Minato, Megumi, and his little sister Yukina, though this upsets his comrades who believe the EFF are pure evil. Genichiro tries to talk him out of it, but Tsukumo tells him to ram it as he flies off.
