THE 16TH TRACK WITH A FASTER GLITCH!!!

To be able to say that 50% of the tracks in Mario Kart 7 have a glitch category is absolutely insane, and to do it on a track where we thought that the only way to achieve such an accomplishment was to get a run that just happened to get a random respawn there is even more magical. Technically speaking there already were 16 tracks with a faster glitch due to the random respawn here, but because it has never been reproduced in a run, it was impossible to actually count it as the 16th track. Even though the random respawn will still technically be faster here, having a reproducible way to get a glitch means that we can officially make the dream of having a glitch time trial on this track a reality.

This journey started a week ago (note: @8wxxx had actually sent me a clip of him attempting to glitch in pretty much the exact same way about 3 months ago, I just completely forgot about) when I was messing around on Maka Wuhu that it was possible to get extreme height from ledgehangs by hitting a wall, dropping into it, and hopping on the first frame. At first I thought that it was a useless discovery, as I couldn't think of a single place in the game where it could be applied, but when I started messing around on this track a few days later, I noticed the potential almost immediately.

The 2 shroom method of this glitch should save about .1 over flap, however I do believe that this glitch should be just about possible with 1 shroom, which would make it over 1 second faster for flap, and potentially have a tiny chance of being faster for 3 lap. These calculations do rely on being able to perform this glitch with red monsters, but there's no reason why that shouldn't be possible given the nature of the glitch.

This Glitch is quite difficult to perform, and I don't expect to see it in any real time runs. But for it to exist at all makes me incredibly happy. Hopefully we can further improve the way this glitch is done in the future, but to have this exist at all is more than I could ever have hoped for.

And finally, thank you all the support I've had on the videos I have been making recently. These videos take a long time to make, so seeing so many people watching them and enjoying them really means a lot. I have some pretty cool videos planned for the next few weeks, so I hope you enjoy them :)
