Megaman Battle Network 4 Blue Moon | Part 1: A Darkness Rises

It's been a while huh? Well I had this done in advance so there's no excuse. I welcome you to the second Battle Network Legacy Collection. This one has Battle Network 4 (Red Sun/Blue Moon), Battle Network 5 (Protoman/Colonel) and Battle Network 6 (Gregar/Falzar). Since you guys voted, I will be starting up the fourth entry of the Battle Network series, Mega Man Battle Network 4: Blue Moon.
Released on December 12, 2003 in Japan, June 29, 2004 in America and September 3, 2004 in Europe. This game continues the story, set some time after the events of Battle Network 3. The game's story would be adapted for the NT Warrior anime's second season Axess and third season Stream.
In terms of gameplay, there are some new additions such as the Emotion Window. Hitting an enemy at the right time will let them go Full Synchro and the next attack will deal double damage. Not only that but there are other Emotion states such as Anxious, Angry and Dark. This game also introduces the Dark Chips. Should MegaMan enter an Anxious state, you get access to two Dark chips. But should you choose to use any, you lose 1HP from your maximum health permanently.
Battle Network 4 also introduces the Double Soul system aka Soul Unison. Certain Navis that Lan & Megaman will face respond to an opposite Navi's soul. In turn, you obtain a Soul Unison. To access it, you need to sacrifice a specific type of chip. This will give Megaman some new attacks and abilities... as well as weaknesses. The Navi Customizer also had some changes with the biggest being that he can equip any colored part. The only drawback is that he can only have up to 4 different colors. Any more and bugs will ensue.
There is sadly one drawback to this. In order to obtain everything from this game, you need to beat the game three times. Anything that you obtain in one playthrough is carried over to the next. It's repetitive and is a serious turn-off for many players resulting in negative reception. Sadly I'm only doing one playthrough because doing 3 is a massive pain in the butt.
Part 1 begins with Lan and Megaman undergoing some basics and spending time with Yuichiro Hikari, their father. Things change when he gets called for an emergency and then trouble ensues in ElecTown.
