Awhile back, I had been thinking of making an MMD video with a 2.5D anime-style look reminiscent of Guilty Gear Xrd(having models limited animation, making them move at 15fps while the environment moves at 60fps). While my first 2.5D MMD video looked kinda cool, I felt something was missing. That's right. *OUTLINES.* Because of that, the models didn't really look hand-drawn 2D. Since then, I had been wanting to make an improvement to the video, but I just couldn't put my finger on how to give the characters outlines to make them look like 2D characters...until I found an MME effect called Croquis, which turns everything into what looked like a pencil-made drawing. For some reason, that gave me an idea. I could use it as a green-screen effect in Wondershare Filmora to give the models outlines! Now I made the characters really look 2D! Well...not really because the models are still 3D, it's just that the effect makes them look hand-drawn.
