MmGS Vlog: Metroid Prime 4 Restart?!
0This morning, Nintendo gave an update for Metroid Prime 4, and it wasn't good news. Shinya Takahashi, the Nintendo Entertainment Planning & Development, announce that the development of Metroid Prime 4 have been "scraped" and that they have to "start over".

As a result, they asked Retro Studios to help development the game from the ground up, the reason was during its development, Nintendo felt the game was not in their standard thus made a decision to scrap the development and start over with Retro Studios. Even is may be a sad news, I have to commend Nintendo for their tranparency and admiting if there was something wrong, unlike some other companies.
I give my thoughts as well, my theory of the situation.
