I recently finished implementing all the planned units for the WW1 faction for my side project, with the game now having two fully featured factions with unique units.
It was fun.
oh yeah also I overhauled the majority of visual effects.
Next on the agenda for this game? Begin work on a planned "Alien" faction. Add support for more map and scenery types, and I've even dreamt up some long-term plans for actually turning this into a full game.
