MML - Where else can you go with the Main Gate "skip"?

1I've tried doing a little experimenting with the "skip" from my other video, and there's some pretty interesting results I've found.
Interestingly, the other doors in the Clozer sub-gate can't be opened. Combined with how you can't access the rest of the Main Gate from the ruins entrance, it seems like the devs might've been aware of this and ensured you couldn't skip parts of the game that way.
