Got the Neslug farm battle done to 4 turns, or just a couple actions into turn 5 if I let the computer autoplay the battle (moved chaos to position 2, and then set a farming deck on 'main' and dropped the berserk).

Using Forvist with Meteor. Previously, I was using Kempfer with the 5*+ Extreme Ifrit, the easily obtainable (7500 cores) version. This did not translate to autobattle or as few turns as well, but it does work reliably.

I did end up running through the maniac neslug with a kempfer, but I did not think very hard about the battle - in particular, even in giving the kempfer 70% dark resist and lots of water resist, I should have put an ultima deck on my subdeck rather than just an action charger deck. I maybe could've used a break deck as my main instead of kempfer as well, but the battle is won and perhaps I got a little better with a monk.

I'm pretty sure Forvist will do slightly more damage than ultimecia in these contraints, but more importantly, the constant ultimate charging is really useful in keeping elements up while maximizing damage. Terra's class and Seifer/ShornOne strike me as the other obvious choices here, but Meteor adds so much element enhancement that again, I think the forvist wins

(a new ex mage was just released in Japan that blows everyone's fire damage away, but I'm still looking forward to Meia's Ex job in ~January over everything... I may start a second character when that is released.)
