This Tutorial for Mod Organizer covers all the basics from how to download, install, set up, and use the program for Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas. It covers Script Extenders and Skyproc Patches as well.
There are plenty of guides like this, but I got sick of either answering generic comments with this information OR directing people to other people's tutorials. Fun Fact: Watch the color of my skin throughout the video, it's very subtle and you may or may not be able to make it out but, the air conditioning cut off just as I started the video, and I was baking at a nice 85 degrees in my jacket by the end of it.
