Modder Follows Me Through Lobbies To Get His Kills Back | GTA Online
0KioCarterrr didn't like the idea of getting killed by another modder, so he tried to follow me through three different public lobbies to get his kills back. To this day, I'm still up. 3-1 lzzzz.
To any folks who might be upset by this video, just know that the rules of etiquette exist. If you trash-talk a modder, he's obviously going to come knocking.
I still can't believe that I was up on another modder who was using mods to attack me for essentially no reason. KioCarterrr obviously didn't pay attention to the text chat, but he certainly paid attention to the score (it's 3-1 to me). Speaking of mods (this is for PC players only), if your camera snaps forwards randomly while you're looking in another direction and your camera repeats this over and over, all while you're stuck in place and unable to move, then that means a deprived modder is using a menu to try to get a kill on you. You'll see it happen at least twice in this video if you haven't already watched it. Get a couple of kills on them, if you can, then find a new lobby. It's essentially like them shutting down your mouse and keyboard to get a cheap, easy kill on you. Leaving the lobby while you're up on folks like these really gets them triggered. In my 11+ years on this game, I've never angered someone to the point where they've followed me through public lobbies to try getting their kills back, until now.
Full context: I was in a public lobby. This was one of those rare occasions when I killed a player named Odiseo-percopula so I could give his bounty right back to him. He started to get angry at me because I killed him once, so I didn't give the bounty back to him. He started to get annoyed at me in the text chat, to which Marenius_ started trash-talking. The whole lobby seemed a bit volatile at that point, so I wanted to see how Marenius_ reacted after I killed him. I kept on killing him over and over. When KioCarterrr came over to us, I was on autopilot killing Marenius_ to see how he'd react, and I sniped KioCarterrr thinking it was Marenius_ (you'd see it at this part of the video, I wouldn't have fired at KioCarterrr without any provocation from him beforehand) as he suddenly appeared on the road near where I was standing. KioCarterrr took offence to this, asked if I wanted to fight, to which I accepted. He was obviously going to start shooting at me while I was killing Marenius_; KioCarterrr was killing randoms left and right before I even started to go after Odiseo-percopula's bounty (as seen in the video). I killed him three times and he got one kill on me (both of us were modding). I saw this as an opportunity to record a funny video, so I left to see how he'd react and if he'd message me. He didn't message me, but he did follow me through three different lobbies to try to get his kills back, textbook behaviour of someone who cares about kills in a game. After I made my own session, then went to a public session following this, I never saw KioCarterrr again. Someone tried that "freeze your character in place to get a kill on them" trick on me in one of my next lobbies, so I knew KioCarterrr was following me through different public lobbies. The list of players in the pause menu updates quicker and is more reliable than the one that's outside the pause menu, hence why you don't immediately see his name on there (see 16:15). I also show proof of this in the video. Cool story, btw.
Please refrain from sending hate to anyone in the video, even if they are acting foolish. If they want to project their negativity onto others, then it's their problem.
