I play games in OSX and Windows. One of my computers is a dual boot system that permits me to run both operating systems natively.
Sometimes I'm working in OSX and need to take a break, so I'll fire up Borderlands 2 to get pumped or say konichiwa to friends. Just like Windows there's a way to mod and /or create items in BL2.

This is only for OSX. No need to be jelly if you are on windows ;)
For Windows savefile editing use Gibbed Save Editor which can be found at http://blog.gib.me and is in every way superior.
If you wanted to, it would be plausible to edit your saves in Winblows and then dump the files back into OSeX.
I'd rather stay in one system hence, my use of the BorderTool 2 save editor when I'm already in the system.
The path to your savefile in OSX is "YOUR USER NAME"/Library/Application Support/Borderlands 2/WillowGame/SaveData/76561198014040646 Please note: the last folder may or may not have a different number sequence. Oh, you'll find out. Once you find the "SaveFile" folder you are golden! The good stuff is inside of it. Just use some common sense. No, you can't download common sense from the app store but I can sell you some for a nominal fee 6_6
