This is an attempt to rip the shroud off of the modding process and make it a bit more approachable for those of you who have great ideas but feel overwhelmed by the idea of creating your own mods. Writing mods isn't for everyone, but I have a feeling there are lots of people out there with the ideas, the drive and the skills necessary to make great mods that I would love to play with but just haven't been able to overcome the fairly steep learning curve on tinkering with games. Hopefully this gives a few of those people to exposure they need to jump into the water headfirst (or at least wade into the ankle-deep section).
