232Marvel Legends MODOK Review. This Marvel Legends MODOK is based on his traditional look, and the sculpt is a pretty accurate representation of him, with all the details in the right places like on the front and back of his head. He’s essentially a build-a-figure, so some assembly is obviously required; luckily, he’s easy enough to put together. Paint apps are clean, though there aren’t many of them. His purple and gold plastics look very bright and the gold plastic gives his body a metallic appearance, which works really well for his look. His articulation is good for what the character design’s able to provide; it’s all in the arms and legs. Accessories include a second face plate and extra hands. The face plates are good though a little plain; a gritting teeth face or an evil grin might have been more exciting. He can be a little prone to falling over if he’s not on a level surface. However, his accessories can be stored inside his body and this keeps him weighed down. On a scale of S to F, I rate him a B. It’s a good toy worth looking into, but you might not need it if you already have Toy Biz’ MODOK.
