Coming in v2.8 of Modular Launch Pads for Kerbal Space Program is the Vandenberg AFB SLC-6 (Space Launch Complex 6) Shuttle launch mount and tower. This is a demo/guide of them together. I show off each part and the settings in its PAW so you can see how they go together and are set up and aligned. The crew arm, LOX Vent Arm ("beanie cap") and top mast are new parts for this tower, but the existing Hydrogen Vent Arm is used.

The US Air Force was going to launch the space shuttle on polar orbit missions from SLC-6 , which was originally built for the planned (but cancelled) MOL in the 60s. In the 80s the complex was heavily modified to support shuttle launches. After the 1986 Challenger disaster, those plans were cancelled. SLC-6 was later modified to support the Delta 4.

The shuttle stack shown is the Shuttle Orbiter Construction Set (SOCK) orbiter, the ORANGES External Tank and the Photon Corp SRBs.
