Trying out RSS-RO sandbox in Kerbal Space Program, and this is third basic lunar probe I successfully landed on the Moon, so I used it for a demo video. I had changed the launcher's upper stage to an LH2 LR87 engine from the 3 RL10s I had used before, but never tested the lunar transfer portion of the mission, so delta-V usage was higher, and I had to use the lander's engines to finish the LOI. Fortunately I put plenty of excess delta-V in that lander for just such a possibility.

The launcher is my own design, a mishmash of alternate Delta-2 and Atlas V/Vulcan concepts. First stage is 3 RS-27A engines with 6 GEM 63 SRBs. Upper stage as mentioned is a single LH2 upper stage variant of the LR87 (an actual proposal which was droppeed in favor of the J-2). The lunar tug stage is a homebrew Agena.
