Released in 1999, this was a fully 3D Monopoly adaptation that was developed by Minds-Eye Productions, the studio who also worked on Sheep, Starsky & Hutch, Combat Chess and Pac-Man: Adventures in Time. The developer was eventually acquired by Disney in 2005, a decade after the studio was founded. This was a natural move because they had a hand in the development of 7 games on the Disney Channel Play service on Sky Gamestar, including “Timon and Pumbaa’s Bug Blast,” “Finding Nemo” and “Kim Possible: Robot Frenzy.”
