Finally got a proof from a Monster Hunter game of the shield weapons being weaker with no reason other than Capcom wanting them to be weaker.

I always had that feeling but is basically impossible to do a straight intent demonstration because weapons have different motion values and attack speeds that makes them almost impossible to compare because factors like ease of use come to mind.

But what if there is a Monster Hunter game where nothing of this is a factor and we can straight up compare damage without bias?
