Monster Hunter Stories 2 Velocidrome Battle
0After passing the Rider initiation test you're told to go gather materials and Navirou suggest exploring a certain Den. It will be marked on your map and the place is filled with mushrooms to help you craft potions.
At the end of your first real dungeon though you'll be greeted by the Velocidrome. Honestly this boss isn't too bad as you'll have both Ranmar and your Kulu-Ya-Ku to help deal with him.
The boss will primarily use speed attacks so it may be worth swapping over to Kulu-Ya-Ku and keep in mind you only have yourself and your own Monsties Kayna is not with you for this fight.
After a while it will go enraged and at that point you will want to swap over to Ranmar because when Enraged this boss loves to use power attacks.
Overall not a hard fight or even a complex one. Honestly compared to the Velocidrome fight in stories 1 that commanded Velociprey and did its own little team attacks this guy is a joke.
After beating him you are guaranteed a Velocidrome Egg but like... why? I get they want to give us a speed fighter but we already have Ranmar.
