I know I start off with long sword but that's my support build at the start that I use to buff myself. Anyways, here are my thoughts on AT Lunastra.

It isn't as terrifying as I was expecting, but the reward isn't as great in exchange. The Beta Lunastra armor is still miles better than the whole of the gamma set, but it may have some value in mixed sets. New earplugs building options are always welcome I suppose. When it comes to the fight, she doesn't feel too different. Her health pool probably still isn't much larger than Tempered Lunastra's, but my use of farcaster probably made it seem like it was. Supernova is the only scary thing, which is why I HIGHLY recommend having farcaster on your radial wheel to avoid carting when you don't have the fireproof mantle on. Gunlance is pretty safe and doesn't need to worry too much about hitting her since the shells do fixed damage, so that may be why I find it pretty easy for an Arch Tempered.

Skills I would certainly recommend as crucial or as something for the less confident would be Earplugs, Windproof, Fortify, and possibly Fire Resistance if you can squeeze it in. You can see in my fight that RAWR into Supernova is a true combo, so earplugs can protect if you see her do supernova right after, and windproof is there to at least save you from getting fried for longer periods of time. Fortify is really good for solo hunts, as the potential carts gives you an EZ 20% attack boost and 30% defense boost, and you're not here for the reward money anyways. Fire resistance needs no explanation.
