Monster Hunter World Beta - A personal opinion.

This is the fifth in the Monster Hunter Franchise by Capcom. This game is one of the most anticipated games of the coming year. In the same style as a number of other games by Japanese developers Monster Hunter World has the Huge oversized weapons which is a style I myself have never liked. This video is a play through of first the Multiplayer mode then the single player mode. I found the graphics of environment to be very pleasing and did a great job at setting the mood. The AI however at times seemed unrealistic in their reactions. For example a herd of small prehistoric animals act as if your character isn't a threat as you run through their herd; not the reaction I would expect. Both single and multiplayer seem to be the same monotonous act which is disappointing, track the monster with fireflies, attack the monster. Depending on what type of primary weapon you choose lays out your attack style like an up close tank or a range attack. From my limited playing knowledge it seems a range based char give the ability to apply effects to attacks such as stun, and other effects which adds an extra element to the game play, but after a while the game play gets monotonous and I lost interest. I can see where they were trying to go with MHW but unfortunately for me it fills lacking and incomplete.
