Monster Hunter World - Part 5 - encountering the Kulu Ya Ku
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Monster Hunter World.
We are taking a team out on an expedition to the Ancient forest, this means we are not on a timers as we are just exploring the area. We are looking for a new area in the Ancient forest to set a camp. This new camp will allow us to arrive at the Ancient forest at a different point that might be closer to a monsters nest.
Whilst exploring around we are also able to gather some tracks for monsters and gain more knowledge for them. After finding a new area for a camp, we encounter a new monster called the Kulu Ya Ku. We will have to deal with this Kulu if we want to set up a camp in the area.
We track the monster and gather some tracks and feathers from the creature before finally fighting the monster. The Kulu is a relatively small monster so we decide to fight it alone. The size of the monster also makes it a little difficult to jump and hit with the insect glaive so we will have to fight more on the floor. after some time the Kulu will pick up a rock and use it as a shield and weapon by blocking attacks or hitting the player with it. We are able to knock it out of the Kulu's hands to continue doing damage.
Whilst following the Kulu we come across the The Great Jagras, the two start a turf war and also fight each other, this helps up out but can also be dangerous if we are caught in the middle of the fight. After taking down the Kulu we head home to report about the new camp.
