Monstrum 2 [Bugs, Glitches and Exploits] - Tons of mapping visual bugs
What you see in this video is from the "final" version of Monstrum 2 (2023 Update) and from what it seems the developers have no plan on updating Monstrum 2 simply because almost no one plays the game anymore (what is sad).
Chances are possible that the developers indeed make an update, but not sure if they ever will fix all the bugs shown in the video.
I have no idea how long it took me to make this "simple" video here since i tried to find as much broken stuff as possible and I'm sure i could even make another video because there is still so much that needs to be found.
I also once did a bug report for the Hisa Maru (ship) related bugs on Steam almost a year ago but seems no update that fixes anything of that was released.
The video is best watched in 0.5 Speed if things are too fast.
The video here mostly contains:
-Wrong textures
-Missing textures
-Misplaced stuff (floating stuff)
-Leftover stuff (like the dirt overlays)
-Tons of object flicker
-Glitched stuff (like the lights to the ship)
-Weird stuff (like that one light beam)
-Missing collisions
-Ugly placed stuff (like those outside walkways where you can see the cut edge)
-Other stuff
The stuff above here is mostly map and visual related stuff but i also know "few" game breaking bugs.
(I plan to make more videos about that)
It is also possible that something is twice in this video because i lost track what i needed to keep and what not while making this video.
(Like that one weird spot light)
I myself often really try to like the game (even if no one plays it) but everytime i look at the details, it's just depressing.
I wonder, was this game really THAT rushed while it was created?
Monstrum 2 feels similar to FlatOut 3 (it seems FlatOut 3 is less broken than this game) but the difference for M2 is that it comes from the same developer.
The first Monstrum was (and still is) perfect and I'm sure they will never ever make a game similar to Monstrum's complexity in the future.
Also because the developers changed or got replaced with different ones.
If you plan to buy this game, buy the first one instead.
You will have much more fun.
This video was originally meant to be uploaded almost a year ago but i didn't do that back in those days because i wanted to make sure it is the final game update.
Video texts are a bit too fast and there is a typo i realized (converting this video took around an hour) and AVS Video Editor would have messed with text positions if i changed everything to 1x speed.
