Overview:
The Villa Auditore was a familial home and stronghold of the Auditore family and the Italian Assassins, located within the Tuscan town of Monteriggioni. Purchased by Domenico Auditore in August 1327, it remained the home of the Auditore up until the turn of the 16th century, when it was heavily damaged during the siege of Monteriggioni.
The Villa di Maiano bears a striking resemblance to the Villa Auditore in Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. The essential structure of the Villa Auditore is almost identical to the one in Maiano. Although the Villa Auditore is virtual, it appears bigger in scale than the Villa di Maiano. There are also many other minor differences, but what is also important to note is that the Villa Auditore is set in Monteriggioni whereas the Villa di Maiano is northeast of Florence.

Assassin's Creed II is a 2009 action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montréal and published by Ubisoft.[1] It is the second major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and the sequel to 2007's Assassin's Creed. The game was first released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2009, and was later made available on Microsoft Windows in March 2010 and OS X in October 2010. Remastered versions of the game and its two sequels, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations, were released as part of The Ezio Collection compilation for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 15, 2016, and for the Nintendo Switch on February 17, 2022.
