Monument Valley to Million Dollar Highway Scenic Drive | Las Vegas to Denver Road Trip #relaxing 4K
8Day5: As part of our Las Vegas to Denver road trip, Day5 was a long long drive from Kayenta AZ to Delta, CO via Route 163 and Million Dollar Highway. We started with a good breakfast at Kayenta and drove through Monument valley covering Mexican hat and Forest Gump view point. We also stopped at Ute Mountain Tribal Park visitor center. Our next stop was Pinkerton Hot springs in Durango, then we entered the San Juan National Forest and continued on to Molas Pass and then Million Dollar highway. There are several beautiful scenic spots on this route and the pullout to Silverton overlook is just too beautiful. The entire drive is just mind blowing - snow peaked mountains, gushing streams and waterfall, hairpin bends - just amazing! Oh and we started our day in Monument valley in the middle of sand storms and ended with reachable snow near Molas pass. We ended our day in Delta, CO.
