NBA Jam: On Fire Edition is a downloadable 2-on-2 arcade basketball game developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports for the PlayStation 3 (via PlayStation Network) and the Xbox 360 (via Xbox Live Arcade) on October 4, 2011. The game has a unique visual style, using 3D models with high-resolution photographs for the heads of each of the players. Several aspects such as the outrageous slam dunks and the ball catching on fire return from the original franchise games. The game also features more than 30 legends including: Clyde Drexler, Julius Erving, Drazen Petrovic, Larry Bird, Hakeem Olajuwon, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Detlef Schrempf, Isiah Thomas, Dominique Wilkins, Spud Webb, Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, Karl Malone, John Stockton and Earvin "Magic" Jonshon. As an enhanced version of the 2010 NBA Jam, the game updates the player roster (to the 2011-2012 NBA season) while adding new unlockable classic teams and players such as the Seattle Supersonics of Garry Payton & Shawn Kemp.
