My modular workflow for creating a game character that will eventually be fully animated and controllable.

Yes I've decided to give it a go at creating a game in Unity. I'm a complete newbie and learning everything from scratch - coding, pixel art, animation, everything. So it's going to be a long and slow process, and I have no idea how far I'll even be able to go, but I'm giving it an honest try.

"Moonborn - Grove Guardian", as the project is currently code named, will be a 2D pixel art game that is heavily inspired by the old Amiga game "Moonstone - A Hard Days Knight".

The game will put you in control of a new breed of Werewolf, affectionately named the Moonborn, as you fight various monsters and threats in a Dark Souls-esque combat system across a wide variety of static stages, which is accessed through travel across an overland map - just like in Moonstone.
