Morbid Curiosity (FULL ALBUM)
597Happy Halloween everybody! This is a project I’ve been working on for a couple months, and I’m excited to finally show it to you! Music is one of the passions I don’t get to explore as much on the channel, so I hope you enjoyed this little Halloween treat!
Huge thank you to my brother, Caelan Hawkes. He helped me mix and master some of these, as well as provided additional keyboard (including the solo in National Parks), and provided the drums in Behind The Mask. He’s one of the most talented musician I know, and his musical project are what gave me the confidence to put my music out there.

Track Descriptions:
1. Behind The Mask is my attempt at a FNaF Song. In an attempt to be unique in some way, I tried to make it vaguely punk/grunge inspired.
2. Cold Heart is a love song about a zombie. I remember trailers for that movie Warm Bodies and I thought zombie Twilight was a funny idea.
3. Fresno: A song about the cryptid the "Fresno Nightcrawlers", these weird guys that just look like pants. It sounds like JoJo's but I swear that's not where I got the idea. Cowboy Bebop was the original inspiration for the song.
4. National Parks is about the myth that people mysteriously disappear in National Park caves. Its not really true (It has happened but its not some big conspiracy), but on TikTok its mostly pushed by pairing random facts that aren't related, but when said dramatically make you think they are. So that's the song.
5. Higher Than you is a weird ethereal song about alien abduction that has a very Nirvana-esq chord progression.
6. Aliens Are Just Like You: Old song about aliens probing your dad.
7. In The Room Where You Sleep is a song by Dead Man's Bones (Ryan Gosling's band), which was a huge inspiration for this whole album. A sort of fun spooky vibe. This is my lo-fi instrumental cover I made a little while ago.
