In my second mordhau weapons gameplay video i use the messer in combo with the new round shield. The messer is an adaptable weapon because it can be used either in 1 or 2 hands allowing for a shield to be held. I see the messer as an inbetween weapon, between the arming sword and the longsword. It is fast and dangerous at the expense of range, but it also allows for a shield to be held as compromise. The new round shield is a great option offering large protection at the expense of visibility. In this video i simply do a full round using this combo for you to see what it is like to use. In my opinion this is a great build for getting stuck in and defending against multiple enemies. Great for invasion mode when approaching archers. #mordhau #medieval #messer
