Today's Mordhau gameplay video features the Partisan. As the newest weapon added into Mordhau, you'd think you'd see it around more than you do. But due to it's lack of variety, the Partisan isn't used regularly by very many players. There are simply better options to use, even if those options are not as strong as the Partisan is, when you look at its numbers.

Through a quick check, I found that overall the Partisan powers past the competition when it comes to stab damage. A few weapons come a bit close, like the spear and zweihander, but the Partisan is still king. The downside of having so much damage upfront is that it is a short range (the same as the poleaxe) compared to the spear and zweihander, and it's slower too.

But(!) it can be thrown where it can deal even more damage. So it gets a few bonus points there.
