MORE DEAD CELLS! Cooler Hattori’s Katana exploit. (Explanation in description)
SO, this is the last video’s thing, BUT after you do the jumps that allow you to start walking around normally with the immediate dash slash ready, you do the immediate dash slash, THEN ROLL while still holding button linked to Hattori’s Katana (I found you can release and reapply it, but holding it is safer) and you might do another dash immediately after the roll. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT MAKES THIS WORK. It works sometimes, and other times it doesn’t at all with seemingly no difference, but here’s something I do know- after you get it the first time, for some reason it becomes extremely easy to do it the next time.
Meaning, after the roll slash, your next move will be an immediate dash slash again, then you can roll and if you don’t do it really stupid it basically always works, no idea what makes it work consistently when you do it on repeat but it works that way. The first dash slash does normal attack damage (like I mentioned in the last video description), and then the one after the roll (despite being all fast) does the critical hit damage, and you can just repeat those two again and again.
If you want to end the cycle, don’t to the roll slash, OR (another thing where for some reason timing for something that would be harder becomes easy after doing the roll slash for the first time) you can hold the button linked to the Katana and do a second slash (with the pause) just like the roll slash, but without the roll, with the pause animation, and with no dash slash as the next hit. You can change directions with both the roll and second slash thing after the first dash slash. So yeah, that’s it!
Note: I use a triple jump thing here a lot (because I had an amulet that let me) but it’s not necessary for the roll slash technique/exploit, it’s just another way to cancel out of the dash so you can move freely, rather than jump, land, jump.
