Morphite is definitely a rough diamond, as opposed to a diamond in the rough. But despite needing a LOT of polish in certain areas, it's biggest drawback is in its expectations. Morphite is a casual and purposeful exploration game, but it is certainly not an action title. There is a wealth of guns and bombs, but contrary to popular belief they are used more as contextual keys in a puzzle game, than for self-defense. A good title overall, but don't go expecting too much related to the abominations of No Man's Sky, or even then, you may be a bit disappointed.
