8Mages Guild. I made the trip back to Punabi, thinking that if I finished clearing out the cave there, Manwe would decide to pay her guild dues. At the back of the cave, I fought a harrowing battle with a mage named Eldrasea Helas who completely drained both my strength and endurance [9:05]. I ended up having to conjure an Ancestral Ghost to kill her. After the battle, with no strength or endurance, I was over-encumbered and unable to move. I tried to rest with no effect. I ascended to Level 3 [14:10]. I used a Divine Intervention scroll to teleport to Pelagiad but remained encumbered and unable to move [19:30]. I dropped everything I was carrying and walked around naked so I could find a vendor who sold restoration potions [20:55]. I encountered a dark elf “Sleeper” with a message that the Sixth House has arisen and Dagoth Ur calls to me [25:50]. I bought restore potions (5 pts) from Ygfa in Fort Pelagiad. I finally restored my strength and endurance and recovered all of my equipment. (Edited.)
