Shujinko was first introduced in the conquest mode in mk deception being the main protagonist of the story to replace liu kang after his death in deadly alliance. we went through his entire lifespan starting as a young kid until he's a grown old man on a mission to retrieve all the kamidogu for a god unaware that its actually onaga. Shujinko comes back again as a cameo in the new MK1, and thats nice. nice to know that he's not completely forgotten. i will talk more about him when we cover conquest in deception but he doesnt really play bad here. he's able to transform into other characters and has some similar moves to other characters with the exception of a few that are his own. there isnt much to him. he plays the same way he did in deception. its nice to see that he gets a nod in the new MK1. To me shujinko just kinda reminds me of the those old chinese kung fu masters in those old kung fu movies that kung pow makes fun of. hes supposed to be a wise mature well taught martial artist but he is single handedly the reason why Onaga will be free in Deception. i definitely want to talk about him more as we go through the journey in deception. in this game he's fine. in conquest you find him locked up in dungeon/jail place and i believe you get to free him and gives you a power up, im not sure, its been awhile since i did the conquest for this game. he controls well and he's got nice combos. would say he's fine to use. but nice to see him back again in MK1
