Mortal Race Longplay (Arcade Game) - Difficulty: Beginner -

Onto the average difficulty!
Below is the game description...

Mortal Race (1995) - Arcade racing game developed by New Dream Games from Palma de Mallorca, Spain. This rare Spanish arcade title features time trial gameplay where players race solo against the clock, needing to complete each track section within 60 seconds to continue.

The game offers four difficulty levels: Beginner, Average, Expert, and Mortal, with the final Mortal difficulty taking place on Saturn. Players can choose from different vehicles and race through tracks featuring weather effects like rain and snow, along with various obstacles including train crossings and police checkpoints.

Mortal Race uses an isometric perspective similar to Gaelco's World Rally and was also released in a modified version called "Top Driving," though the original game actually contained more features than its successor.

The gameplay is reminiscent of ADK's Overtop (1996), with nice graphics for its era and fluid gameplay that remains enjoyable today. The smooth controls and varied track designs create an engaging arcade racing experience.

Fun fact: this title remained lost for nearly 30 years until 2023, when it was finally preserved through the combined efforts of The Dumping Union, Museo del Recreativo (Jaén), and Recreativas.org. A rare game board was located with a collector in Minnesota, USA, and successfully dumped for preservation.
