MOST EPIC: MATCH OF THE YEAR candidate against Yoggy in Ashran! Meso slays with Ancient Artifact!
0In the beginning, I notice right away that Yoggy is in the match! I call for everyone to go to the Ring of Conquest, only to find out that they did not even go there, they went to the Panther cave instead. So what did we do, we proceeded to drop the Ogres and the Ancient Inferno was up, so we kill the Ancient Artifact. I called for a geared Ranged to get the Ancient Artifact, but after 10 seconds and it was not looted, I knew what had to be done ... YES, it's TIME for MESO to SHINE and pick up the Ancient Artifact as a Melee once again!
I recalled back to the base with it just in case they were trying to send a team back to wipe us at ROC and take it away. Once again, I sat there and tried to give it away to a Ranged DPS, but nobody wanted it. Our S.A.S. numbers were a little light in this match, we had 14 in here. I'm sure when people see "MESOSTEALTHY" in the match, they always assume we have a full premade. Well this is not the case, because it's not as easy for Horde to queue up multiple groups and guarantee that all get in the same queue. We do not drop our queues and requeue all 8+ groups over and over each time if we don't all pop together. Sometimes we don't take the queue if only 1 group popped, because what is the fun in playing with a community when only you and 4 other people get into a 40-man battle? Yeah, there's little fun to be had there!
But, as you can see, we entered here with 14 S.A.S. and I was having some fun with the Ancient Artifact, watching what the ALLY were doing, keeping myself alive so the ALLY did not get an AA from MESO, as well as calling out the plays and what I thought the ALLY would do next as well. It was definitely a fun time, so fun in fact, I even created a character on Yoggy's server to thank him for the great match! Yeah, seriously, no rage whisper/message, it was truly a message saying it was nice to see the ALLY giving us a challenge! NO CAP!
As the thumbnail implies, you are more than welcome, Yoggy, to accept the War Game challenge from the Savage Alliance Slayers and we both bring our 40 v 40 to hash it out, or 35 v 35 if you want another crack at Ashran again? I'm gonna go on record by saying, that Yoggy is among the ALLY premade leaders that I, MESO, do indeed have respect for! I've seen him pull off some crazy stuff before and I can respect the play and grind! There are others that I would consider good/great leaders as well, but I'd say that Yoggy probably ranks up at the top of the list for respect from MESO among the ALLY premade leaders, with a close second being Ruthlessbro.
