One of the first encounters with Ruthlessbro I've ever had in this one! | Ashran # 343
0The initial team fight at the Ring of Conquest did seem like it was a little tougher than normal, it appears at least a partial premade was in on the ALLY side. I hadn't seen Ruthlessbro much at all, if any, before this match. In fact, I think after this match, I never made the connection that they were running premades for a while either. But once we started getting the upper hand in the match, Ruthlessbro did AFK out of the match to avoid the loss?
Now I want to speak on this a little, because wait, didn't he say that MESO AFK's matches to avoid a loss? Here, pot, meet the kettle? If you saw my tweet, if I AFK'd out of matches to avoid having a loss on my record, why would I have any losses ever recorded?
Let's speak on the truth of this matter. If MESO AFK's out of a match, you can rest assured that one of the below reasons apply.
# 1: Blizzard FUBARRED the match making and the ALLY out number us in Healers 2-4x as many. Thank you Blizzard match making, at least pretend like you are TRYING to get close to the same amount of Healers on both sides ...
# 2: Too many people off doing their own thing and there is no ARMY for MESO to lead the match. If you call out the winning strategies, and nobody is following your lead, there's not much point for you to be there.
# 3: MESO's internet is not the greatest, I do get DC'd a lot and lagged out. Yeah, this could happen to anybody, it is what it is. This is also why I do not stream, yes, it's that bad LoL!
Back in the day, every single time I would get Wintergrasp while Attacking, I would instantly AFK before the match even started, because this map was so stupidly designed for Defense, you really had no chance if you didn't have 30+ all on discord target calling. At least Blizzard has managed to fix that, granted there are still some things that should probably change for Wintergrasp, but that's another story entirely.
But anyways, back to the Ashran, we did push to their base even though they killed our Mage Jeron and pushed the flag to our base so it was stuck there for 10 minutes. We got Kronus summoned and were pushing to their base and we went into their Mage Tower and dropped Rylai. I was very surprised we were able to keep Kronus up, even though the Gladiators and the ALLY were beating on him! Very impressive. We ended up just farming out the last HK's to finish out the match.
